Dan has been a sought-after keynote speaker for the last 20 years. Addressing groups as small as 20 people and as large as 2,000, he often leaves the audience profoundly moved. There are four kinds of speakers: informational, motivational, inspirational, and transformational. Dan is a transformational speaker. To be transformational you have to be able to deploy the other three disciplines.
The goal of a transformational speaker is to move the audience to take bold and consistent new action in their lives. Dan feels it’s not enough to just inform or entertain. The goal should always be to create traction for real change in each person in the audience.
Dan takes great care in developing each keynote speech for the specific audience. He wants to know the demographics and the psychographics of the audience during the preparation of the talk. The goal is to first connect with the audience, which is critical if you want to move, inspire, and then transform how they think, feel, and act going forward. This preparation work often requires Dan to spend a day with the client and their representatives to know what their goal is for the meeting. This preparation work is a natural part of the total fee, not an additional cost. You can view one of Dan's talks above, as well as his TED Talk here.
